Bill West is a musical shapeshifter: an aspiring drummer turned guitarist and singer, band veteran turned solo powerhouse, and a songwriter who’s as at home by a crackling campfire as he is under theater spotlights.
Born from a diet of Sting, U2, Pink Floyd, James Taylor, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and more, his music weaves earnest storytelling with the restless energy of an artist who’s played over 2,500 shows from Canadian outposts to Florida beach havens.

A natural collaborator, Bill’s shared stages with Counting Crows, The Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Sister Hazel, Mark Rivera (of Billy Joel’s band) and once led a band to Las Vegas on The Next Great American Band reality show.

But it’s his solo act (raw, road-polished, and relentlessly connecting) that’s earned him over 9 million streams worldwide, countless incredible nights onstage, and a cult following for his haunting covers: David Gilmour’s “Murder” (500 thousand streams) and a seismic, fan-adored rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” which exploded into millions of plays and thousands of playlist adds, still climbing daily.

When the pandemic silenced stages, Bill turned to weekly live streams, a practice he’s kept as a lifeline to fans.
These days, he’s a multitasking force: self-producing his own work, mentoring other artists, and still sneaking in drum practices.
